Come out and see Willoughby Run featuring Rob Grimwade, Laura Webster and Tim Grau this coming Saturday!  We won't have the amazing Jim Kooser with us, but he'll be back for the next one!

Willoughby Run is an acoustic rock band with influences rooted in blues, funk, jazz, folk and jam bands. Among rock bands our sound is unique because of the instruments and styles we play: our lead guitarist ranges from finger style runs to funk rhythms and jazz chord structures and our drummer uses a wide variety of percussion instruments from around the world to anchor our grooves.

We have a truly original sound. Our live shows are energetic and soulful, driven by the powerful vocals of our amazing singer Laura Webster, who combines the gutsy blues delivery of Janis Joplin with the smoothness of Sarah McLachlan, and on the improvisational interplay between all of us. Some audiences have compared us to the Dave Matthews Band infused with a bit more funk and blues.

We pride ourselves on playing a growing list of unique original songs drawing from all genres, along with our renditions of some more traditional blues tunes and some new twists on rock covers thrown in for good measure.
